Jennifer Hooker is a speech-language pathologist, special educator, and entrepreneur. She has worked in the field, doing business and making a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families for over twenty years. During a 20-year career in speech pathology and public education, she has maintained a singular focus: developing and implementing customized speech-language and communication programs that promote the utmost potential for all individuals receiving services.
Ms. Hooker has worked as Adjunct Lecturer at Howard University on an Augmentative and Alternative Communication graduate level training grant in the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders. In addition, she works as an independent consulting speech/language practitioner - holding a Maryland license; and certification to practice in the District of Columbia.
Ms. Hooker is certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. She holds a B.S. in Speech Pathology from Grambling State University, a M.S. in Speech Pathology from Howard University, and a M.S. in Special Education from Johns Hopkins University. Ms. Hooker also has Ph.D. level credits from Howard University.
