Chair - Donna A. Young
Ms. Goodman has worked in the Information Technology field for over twenty years.  She currently provides strategic and technical oversight for multiple Army, National Guard, and Reserve customers in multiple locations. Manage all contract financials including proposal costing, budgeting, forecasting, subcontract management and salary planning totaling over 32 million dollars.
 
She is the former President and CEO of Burton & Associates where she provided end-user training and support on Microsoft and WordPerfect products and consulting services for network solutions for government agencies and corporations.
 
Ms. Goodman holds a M.S. in Computer Science from Bowie State University, a M.S., Certificate, General Administration – MIS from the University of Maryland a B.S., in Business Computer Programming, from the University of Maryland and an A.A., in Business Management from Prince Georges Community College.


  

  

Vice Chair - Kim Lloyd
Kim Lloyd has worked in the insurance industry for over 15 years as an Insurance Broker and Construction Risk Insurance Specialist.  Her career path has afforded her the opportunity to establish an integral role in the construction of metro stations throughout the metropolitan area and new commercial and quasi governmental buildings along the east coast.  Apart from her professional career, Kim lends her time and talents to numerous community service ventures.  These endeavors have placed her in the planning stages of new neighborhood schools, serving as editor for community and civic association newsletters, participant in local campaign events, and spokesperson for parental involvement.  Kim is a mother of three and wife of an educator in the Prince Georges County Public School system. 

 

   
Secretary - Dusty Harrell
Ms. Harrell has worked in the Information Technology field for over twenty-five years.  She currently serve as a subject matter IT instructor for the Information Center Training Team with responsibilities for training and assisting Human Resources Command (HRC) customers in the use of end user information processing automation tools, personal computers and overall office automation software uses and techniques; Plans, designs, coordinate and train HRC end user community in training courses for particular area of concentration and expertise (i.e. DATAQUERY, Office Automation (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), Desktop Publishing (Ms Publisher), and Graphical presentations); Provide technical support within the electronic email arena and offer ideas and suggestions on how to use desktop applications more effectively. Travel TDY to other Military Installation to teach DATAQUERY, LAN software that allows users to access the TAPDB (Total Army Personnel Database) Enlisted Master File to create ad-hoc queries.  She sets up and train special classes for TRADOC Personnel Prepotency Directorate.  Ms. Harrell holds a B.A. in Business Administration from North Carolina Central University.

  

  
Treasurer - James Williams
Mr. Williams is currently employed with Northrup Grumann Corporation as a Logistics Specialist where his duties include maintaining a distribution center for consumables for a United States Postal Service Homeland Security project.  He also works as the Accountant for the Edgecomb Group, an architectural and design firm.  James holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Maryland and a Certification in Computer Science from the Computer Learning Center in Arlington, VA.  James and his wife, Monica, have been married for 13 years and have four children.

 
 
Carol McCauley - Members
Ms. McCauley has worked in the education field for over forty years.  She retired in 2006.  She is curently the Team Leader for Pathways to College Preparatory Program for From the Heart Church Ministries.  She is a member of the Livingstone College Alumni, Palmer Memorial Institute, National Black Child Institute, National Family Care Association, NationalEducation Association for Young Children, and Association for Supervision Curriculum Development.  Ms. McCauley has extensive experience in providing soft skills training for teachers, administrators and early childhood development providers.

ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS
 
Chair - Jennifer Hooker 

Jennifer Hooker is a speech-language pathologist, special educator, and entrepreneur.  She has worked in the field, doing business and making a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families for over twenty years.  During a 20-year career in speech pathology and public education, she has maintained a singular focus:  developing and implementing customized speech-language and communication programs that promote the utmost potential for all individuals receiving services. 

 

Ms. Hooker has worked as Adjunct Lecturer at Howard University on an Augmentative and Alternative Communication graduate level training grant in the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders.  In addition, she works as an independent consulting speech/language practitioner - holding a Maryland license; and certification to practice in the District of Columbia. 

Ms. Hooker is certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.  She holds a B.S. in Speech Pathology from Grambling State University, a M.S. in Speech Pathology from Howard University, and a M.S. in Special Education from Johns Hopkins University.  Ms. Hooker also has Ph.D. level credits from Howard University.
