Tonya V. Wingfield
Founder & Executive Director
Tonya V. Wingfield is the Founder and Executive Director of Nehemiah's Vision, Inc. (NEVI). Prior to establishing NEVI, she worked for over 20 years as an IT training consultant supporting mid-to-large size law firms, government agencies and non-profit organizations.
She is an Adjunct Faculty Member at Prince George's Community College where she teaches computer classes as part of the college's Workforce Development Training Program. She is also a licensed Realtor.
Ms. Wingfield brings to NEVI a solid management, training, technical and program development background. This expertise combined with her years of researching the education industry has allowed her to form a team of professionals to develop well-rounded programs based on proven research and aligned to the standards and learning goals of the school districts we serve.

Carol McCauley, Program Coordinator
Youth Empowerment Program
Carol Elizabeth Hart McCauley 69’, graduated from Livingstone with a major in Psychology and Music with a minor in Social Studies and English.
She worked in the educational field as an elementary, middle school and secondary school teacher in various cities around the United States. Carol also served as Head Mistress of a parochial school in Philadelphia, PA.
To further explore the many facets of the education field. She worked as an Assistant Manager of Personal Development for Burlington County Community Action Program in Burlington, NJ where she trained Early Childhood Professionals; assisting them to develop curriculums, monitored and trained them as small business owners. She also managed several government subsidized programs. Carol later worked for The United States Marine Corps, Marine and Family Readiness Child Care office as a Training and Curriculum Specialist.
Since 1972, Carol has sponsored college fairs, represented Livingstone College at many college fairs, conducted college tours and conducted workshops and seminars. While in New Jersey, Carol worked closely with the UNCF office of Newark, NJ. Along with two Livingstone alumni Carol organized The Association of Black College Alumni and Friends (ABCAF) a support network.
Carol formerly served as the Team Leader of Pathways to College; a 10-month college preparatory program at From the Heart Church Ministries where more than 75 families per year pass through the program. Carol also is currently working with several national and local organizations to establish a College Access Center in the southern most part of Prince George County to serve families in the college preparation process.
